FAQ

General Shredding Questions

  • What types of documents should I shred?

Any documents containing personal, financial, medical, or client-related information should be shredded. This includes payroll files, medical records, tax forms, customer lists, contracts, and internal reports. If in doubt—shred it!

  • Do you offer both on-site and off-site shredding?

Yes. We offer on-site shredding where documents are destroyed at your location, and off-site shredding for high-volume needs. Both options are fully secure and NAID AAA Certified.

  • What areas do you serve?

We proudly serve Pomona, Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego, and Ventura County.

Scheduling & Pickups

  • How often can I schedule shredding service?

We offer one-time purges and recurring shredding options (weekly, biweekly, monthly, or custom). We’ll help you choose the right schedule based on your needs and volume.

  • Do I need to remove staples or paper clips?

No! Our industrial shredders handle staples, clips, and folders. Just remove binders, plastic, or large metal objects.

  • Can I watch my documents being shredded?

Yes. With on-site shredding, you can witness the destruction process firsthand right outside your office in our secure mobile shredding truck.

Compliance & Security

  • Are your services HIPAA and CCPA compliant?

Absolutely. We’re NAID AAA Certified, which means our processes meet or exceed HIPAA, CCPA, GLBA, and FACTA security standards.

  • Do you provide Certificates of Destruction?

Yes. After every service, you’ll receive a Certificate of Destruction for your records. This helps with audits and legal compliance.

  • What is a chain of custody and why does it matter?

A chain of custody documents the secure handling of your materials from pickup to final shredding. It ensures your data is never left unprotected and gives you full traceability—an important part of regulatory compliance.

Sustainability & Recycling

  • Is the shredded paper recycled?

Yes. 100% of shredded paper is sent to certified recycling facilities. It’s one of the easiest ways for your business to stay green while staying secure.

  • Do you offer recycling for non-confidential paper or cardboard?

While we specialize in secure shredding, we’re happy to recommend recycling partners for non-sensitive materials.

Business Services

  • Do you work with medical offices, law firms, or schools?

Yes! We serve a wide range of industries, including healthcare, legal, finance, education, and government. Whether you’re a solo practitioner or a large corporation, we can scale to fit your needs.

  • Do you offer residential shredding?

We primarily serve businesses, but can accommodate residential clients for large one-time shredding needs. Contact us for availability in your area.
