Who we shred for in the Victor Valley
Logistics and warehousing — the distribution corridor around Southern California Logistics Airport and the I-15 runs on BOLs, manifests, packing slips and driver files. Recurring service keeps the paperwork from piling up in a corner of the warehouse.
Healthcare — clinics and practices across Victorville, Apple Valley and Hesperia carrying HIPAA-covered charts, EOBs and billing records with retention clocks that have finally run out.
Property management and real estate — closed files, tenant applications with SSNs and bank statements, and inherited cabinets from the last management company.
Tax preparers, insurance agents and law offices — seasonal purges of client files that can't just go in the dumpster.
Schools and public agencies — student records, HR files and departmental purges in the Victor Valley, Hesperia and Apple Valley districts.
Banks and credit unions — daily teller work, loan files, and branch closures under GLBA.
Households — retirees downsizing off Palmdale Road, estates being cleared out, and anyone who just found forty years of statements in the garage.
What "on-site" actually means
The truck shreds in your lot. Not at a plant in Fontana, not "within 48 hours of pickup" — in front of you, before the driver leaves. That distinction matters more the farther you are from the valley, because chain-of-custody risk is mileage: every mile an intact document travels is a mile it can be lost, dropped, or diverted.
Here's how the day runs:
Book it. Call 877-747-3372 or use the free quote form. You'll get a real person and a firm date, not a callback window.
Set it aside. Leave the boxes anywhere the driver can reach them — office, garage, storage unit, warehouse dock. No prep, no sorting, no removing fasteners.
We call ahead. Your driver phones about 30 minutes out, which matters when your Barstow site is 40 minutes from your Victorville office.
We load and shred. Boxes go into locking 64-gallon bins (about 7 boxes each), the bin tipper lifts them into the truck, and the cross-cut shredder runs while you watch.
You get the paperwork. Sign a Certificate of Destruction on the spot — your audit-file proof that the records are gone.
What it costs to get a truck up here
A one-time High Desert job is priced by volume, with a minimum that covers getting the truck up the Pass. Recurring service — weekly, monthly, quarterly, or on-call — prices per bin or per console and is almost always cheaper per pound than one-time work. Two things worth knowing:
We'll beat any written competitor quote by 20%. If a national vendor gave you a number for your Hesperia or Barstow location, send it over.
Bundle your sites. If you have locations in both the High Desert and down the hill, we can route them together and you stop paying a travel premium on the desert stop.
Ask about drop-off if your volume is small — but for most Victor Valley customers, the truck coming to you is the cheaper and easier option once you count your own time.
Shred events for High Desert communities
Chambers of commerce, credit unions, HOAs, churches, cities and real estate offices across the Victor Valley use community shred events to bring people in and give them something genuinely useful. We'll park the truck at your site for up to four hours and shred for your residents, members or customers while they watch. Spring and fall — right after tax season and before the holidays — book fastest in the High Desert, so reach out early.

How does one-time shredding work?
Step 1: Scheduled an appointment
Schedule your shredding service by completing our free quote form or calling our office. One of our friendly staff members will answer all your questions and schedule you for a day convenient for you!
Step 2: Prepare for the day of service
Have your documents prepared for shredding. You can do this by placing them in a box, bag, or anything that can hold them. No need to remove staples, paperclips, binder clips, hanging folders, or 3-ring binders. They can all be shredded with your paper!
Step 3: Day of service
One of our drivers will give you a call 30 minutes before he arrives.
The driver will transfer your paper into a 64-Gallon bin; each bin holds 7 boxes of paper. It will then be transferred to the truck to be shredded.
All the paper will be shredded on-site before the driver leaves your location.
The driver will have you sign a Certificate of Destruction. This verifies that all your documents have been destroyed!

Frequently Asked Questions from High Desert Customers
-
Yes. We are in Barstow once a month. Volume minimums may be a little higher the farther out you are, so it's worth combining with a neighboring business or waiting until you have a full purge ready.
-
There's no minimum, but the value shows up around 5–10 boxes. Below that, drop-off may be cheaper. Above 100 boxes, a single truck visit is dramatically cheaper than any per-sheet alternative.
-
Yes, storage unit purges are one of the most common jobs we run in Victorville and Hesperia. Just make sure we have gate access and a spot to park the truck.
-
Usually under an hour on-site. Our trucks shred roughly 5,000 lbs per hour, so most one-time High Desert jobs are done in a single visit.
-
It's baled and sent to a mill to be recycled into new paper products. Nothing goes to a landfill, and the shred is mixed with material from other customers, which makes reconstruction effectively impossible.
-
No, but you're welcome to watch, and many customers do. Either way you get a signed Certificate of Destruction.
-
Sometimes, depending on where the truck is that day. Call and ask, if we have a Victor Valley route running, we can often add a stop.
